Clay Center TeamMates Program Seeking Board Games And Mentors

The TeamMates Mentoring program pairs students and adults with common interests as a way to facilitate a relationship between the student and a trusted adult mentor. The program is currently available to students in 3rd through 8th grades.

Jess Borgerding is Board President of the Clay Center TeamMates chapter. She says the program already has several matches:

The Clay Center TeamMates program will be holding a board game drive at the February 16th Tigers basketball game. Borgerding says she and the leaders of the program hope the drive will increase awareness and interest in the program:

All adult mentors must go through a background check and training screening process before being matched with a student.
