On Monday, the Kansas Chamber declared the merger of two significant events focused on improving business dynamics in the state. With immediate effect, the Kansas Minority Business Summit and the Kansas Workforce Development and Education Summit will unite under the Kansas Business Expo umbrella. “The 2024 Kansas Business Expo isn’t just an event, it’s a catalyst that will help accelerate the growth and economic impact of our state’s business community,” Cobb said. “We’re bringing together established leaders and next-gen business innovators, diverse perspectives, and shared ambitions, all under one roof. By merging the Minority Business Summit and the Workforce Development & Education Summit, we’re breaking down barriers and helping unlock Kansas business leaders’ potential.” At the Expo, keynote speakers will include Erik Therwanger, former U.S. Marine and Founder of Think GREAT, and Jennifer McDonald (SHRM-CP, MAB), an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader. In addition, the Expo will include breakout sessions, subject experts, and panel discussions covering topics such as, cyber security, expanding into international sales, and building partnerships with Kansas educators and schools.
