We Kan! Conference: Creating Communities of the Future

The Kansas Sampler Foundation is organizing the bi-annual We Kan! Conference, set for April 4 in Newton. This year’s theme is “Creating Communities of the Future.”

With a cap of 170 attendees, the conference is for individuals invested in advancing their communities. Representatives from various sectors including community development, chambers, tourism, local government, and healthcare are expected. A pre-conference session titled “From Welcoming to Belonging” will precede the main event on April 3 from 3-8 p.m.

Sponsorship contributions help maintain an affordable registration fee of $80 for the April 4 conference and $50 for the pre-conference. The Kansas Sampler Foundation, dedicated to preserving rural culture, underscores its commitment to volunteer-led community initiatives through its projects.
