Kansas State University and the University of Kansas Health System announced on April 4th that they have partnered together, through the K-State 105 initiative to explore ways to support health care throughout rural Kansas.
K-State’s Senior Vice President Marshall Stewart said this is a first of its kind for Kansas.
Bob Page of the University of Kansas Health System said they are very excited about the partnership and together they will be able to do some amazing things for Kansans.
This collaboration will help rural communities by keeping care local, increasing access to telehealth resources, and aiding in health-related education and programming. Local K-State Research and Extension Offices will play a key role in this collaboration.
