Hallmark Media, the NFL, Skydance Sports, and the Kansas City Chiefs are joining forces for a new Christmas movie titled Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. The film stars Tyler Hynes, Hunter King, and Ed Begley Jr. and will premiere on the Hallmark Channel during its 15th annual Countdown to Christmas event. Set to film in Kansas City, Missouri, the movie will include scenes at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first Hallmark film shot at this iconic location.
Chiefs President Mark Donovan expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the opportunity to connect Chiefs Kingdom with Hallmark’s audience. Production is scheduled to begin next month.
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story follows Alana Higman (King) and Derrick (Hynes) as they navigate a “Fan of the Year” contest and a budding romance. The movie aims to blend the passion of football with holiday cheer, appealing to both sports and holiday movie fans.
