Clay Center improved to 12-3 overall and 8-1 in North Central Kansas League Friday night with a 58-25 win over Abilene. They were up 26-16 at halftime and then clamped down on defense; allowing just nine points the entire second half. It would be a running clock in the fourth leading to a 58-25 win. Raegann McDonald posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Lily Edwards went 14 and 8 with 3 assists. Ayla Johnson had 7 and a game high 6 assists. Miley McGee also scored 7 and handed out 4 assists. Janae Crimmins hit three 3’s for 9 and Alana Liby knocked in 2 points.
