The Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce has honored current Greater Manhattan Community Foundation President & CEO Vern Henricks as the 2024 C. Clyde Jones Volunteer of the Year. This prestigious award, named after longtime Manhattan resident and former Kansas State University College of Business dean C. Clyde Jones, recognizes individuals for their outstanding dedication to volunteerism and community service.

A Kansas State University alumnus, Henricks has used his skills and experience to support Manhattan’s local initiatives. His dedication to volunteer work has made a lasting impact, earning him recognition as the 36th recipient of this distinguished honor.

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation is also an umbrella of many community organizations including the Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation, Marysville Community Foundation, Frankfort Community Foundation, Blue Rapids Community Foundation, and many more.
