Kansas voters will head to the polls today to cast their ballots for mayors, commissioners and local school boards.
When voting, Kansans must present a valid photo ID. Accepted forms of identification include:
• A driver’s license or nondriver ID card issued by Kansas or another U.S. state or district
• A Kansas concealed carry license, or one issued by another state or district
• A U.S. passport
• An employee badge or ID from a city, county, state, or federal government office
• A U.S. military ID
• A student ID from an accredited Kansas college or university
• A public assistance ID card issued by a government office
• An ID card issued by a Native American tribe
Under Kansas law, polling places open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
