K-State Falls to No. 17 BYU in Three Sets

Kansas State dropped its road match Friday night to No. 17 BYU, falling 25–16, 25–18, 25–9 at Smith Fieldhouse. The Wildcats hit a season-low .033 as the Cougars limited them to 24 total kills and forced 22 errors.

Senior Shaylee Myers led K-State with 10 kills, while Symone Sims added nine digs and Ava LeGrand tallied 21 assists. BYU had three players reach double figures in kills — Suli Davis (12), Claire Little-Chambers (11), and Sophia Callahan (10). The Cougars also held a 9–4 advantage in blocks and a 38–31 edge in digs.

K-State fell to 12–7 overall and 5–6 in Big 12 play, while BYU improved to 18–5 and 6–5 in conference action. The Wildcats return home to face Cincinnati on November 6 and No. 23 Colorado on November 8 at Morgan Family Arena.
