Project Coordinator Ron Nutz said the 408 bricks needed for the mural have been made, carved, dried and will next be fired at the Endicott Brickyard.  The mural has a new addition, a native deep blue metamorphic rock from Afghanistan.

Nutz has seen the mural and gave us his thoughts on it.

The estimated cost of the project was set at $150,000 but through donations and fundraising they have surpassed that amount with an estimated $158,000.

The estimated date for groundbreaking is mid to late June with the hopes of finishing the project in late-August. Nutz added the project has a great team behind it.
