In February, the Wheat Foods Council’s marketing agency, SRG Marketing Firm, presented an update on their 2023-2024 program, “Research, Recipes, Resources.” They reported on the successful redesign of the council’s logo, a decrease in search results for low-carb and gluten-free diets, and the use of council information by the Oregon Public Broadcasting Service, as stated in a release. The firm also highlighted the effective messaging about the benefits of wheat, its taste, energy provision, and plant-based nutrition.
The firm is developing communication strategies emphasizing the trust consumers have in growers and family farms. The campaign aims to strengthen the connection between producers and consumers.
The organization’s summer meeting will be in Manhattan, Kansas in June. The plan is to highlight the Kansas Wheat Innovation Center, the Hal Ross Flour Mill, and the IGP Institute, along with some of the brightest minds in the global wheat industry
