A cannon will be fired in Washington next week. USD 108 Washington County Schools have a summer program for students called Power School. Kristin Sawin, who is the co-director with Jenna Stevenson, tells us about Power School and their special activities.
On Tuesday, June 27th a cannon will be fired north of the school. Kristin shares how this activity came to be.
Chuck Garber is the man firing the cannon and he will share some of his knowledge of the Civil War during the demonstration. The activity is open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs. It will be from 11:30 -12:30 on Tuesday June 27th north of the school.
