“CCCHS Tiger Golf Secures State Championship Berth”

Clay Center Community High School’s Tiger Golf Team clinched second place at the 4A Regional tournament on May 14th, 2024. With a team score of 314, they secured their spot in the State Championships. Jimmy Gordon landed 10th place with a score of 77, leading the team. Isaac Pfizenmaier and Jackson Henry followed closely with scores of 78 and 79. This marks the team’s third consecutive qualification for the State Championships. Gratitude was extended to AD Greg Ferguson, Country Club members, and staff for their contributions. The Tigers are now geared up for the State Championships at Turkey Creek GC in McPherson on May 20-21, aiming to make their mark in the competition.
