Chiefs Lead NFL with Three Top-Ranked Players in PFF Positional Rankings

The Kansas City Chiefs have three players ranked No. 1 at their positions in Pro Football Focus’s (PFF) latest rankings ahead of the 2025 NFL season. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, center Creed Humphrey, and defensive tackle Chris Jones each earned the top spot at their roles.

Only four NFL teams had multiple players ranked No. 1, including the Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Baltimore Ravens.

Mahomes leads at quarterback, Humphrey at center, and Jones at defensive tackle.

The Chiefs nearly had a fourth top-ranked player, with cornerback Trent McDuffie placing third behind Sauce Gardner (Jets) and Pat Surtain II (Broncos).

Other No. 1 players include Derrick Henry (RB), A.J. Brown (WR), and George Kittle (TE).

The rankings highlight Kansas City’s strong core as the team prepares for the new season.
