The Republic County Commission meeting was on November 6th. At the meeting, a variety of topics were discussed, including the High Banks Wind Energy project.

In their report, they discussed that the damage to Turbine 89 is still being investigated and hasn’t produced any conclusive findings yet. The damage is minimal, so New Era has decided to replace the blade this month while still conducting their investigation. The replacement blade has already arrived, and a crane will be on site soon to install it.

If the weather cooperates like it is supposed to, all 233 wind turbines will be completed by Monday, November 13th.
