The Manhattan City Commission began its session by addressing the Consent Agenda, during which Mayor Hatesohl inquired whether the committee had any questions regarding the items included in the consent agenda.
Hatsol has been appointed as the representative commissioner on the project’s selection committee. Following this, he inquired about volunteers for the parks masterplan committee. Commissioner Linda Morse volunteered and will be leading the request for qualifications committee for the comprehensive parks and recreation plan.
Karla Hagemeister, the executive director of the Flint Hills Breadbasket, also took advantage of this opportunity to express gratitude to the committee.
Hatesohl expressed that the parking lot “was the best 400 thousand dollars ever spent. The consent agenda was then approved by all four committee members.
