Media advisory: Kansas Insurance Department to hold mobile office hours in Geary County

Topeka, Kan. – Kansas Insurance Commissioner Vicki Schmidt, today, announced the Kansas Insurance Department will set up a mobile office in Junction City on Monday, April 10. Employees from the Department will be on hand to help members of the public with consumer complaints, fraud reports, licensing and registration inquiries, and answer questions about insurance and securities. The mobile office will be located at Six on Sixth in Junction City, from the hours of 12:00 to 2:00 pm. “One of my goals as Insurance Commissioner is to make our office and the services we provide as accessible as possible,” Commissioner Schmidt said. “I hope the residents of Geary County and the surrounding counties will come talk to us in-person about any insurance and securities issues they may have.”
