The 2025-2026 Kansas Official State Transportation Map is now available, featuring Route 66 and the state’s 12 byways, including the Route 66 Historical Byway. The map also highlights points of interest near major highways.

Published by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT), the map showcases scenic spots such as state parks, lakes, recreation areas, museums, and historic sites. It includes city and county indexes, a distance map, visitor resources, important phone numbers, and locations of airports and hospitals.

The back of the map features inset maps for Kansas City, Wichita, Topeka, and 13 other cities, along with road condition details and roadside assistance information.

The maps are free and will be available in the coming weeks at travel centers, attractions, businesses, and other locations statewide.

There are many maps available on the KDOT website. Once there, click the State Transportation Map link to view, download or request free copies of the publication.
