The Ottawa County Community Foundation celebrated a successful Match Month in March 2024, raising $75,334.85 for the Ottawa County Impact Fund, an unrestricted community grant fund.

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation matched donations up to $50,000 by 200 percent, and the Patterson Family Foundation matched up to $70,000 by 100 percent, resulting in a total community impact of $245,334.85.

Executive Director Ashley Swisher expressed gratitude for the support, highlighting the importance of collaboration to benefit rural areas and create a lasting legacy.

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation focuses on enhancing the quality of life in Northwest Kansas, while the Patterson Family Foundation advances health care, education, and community strength in rural Kansas and western Missouri.
