USD 333 Still Conducting Early Childhood Education Survey

By Payton Tholstrup

The USD 333 Concordia School Board had their meeting on Monday, September 11th. Kim Muff, Concordia Education Fund Director, spoke about the two grant awards the district has received from Child Care Aware of Kansas. Both grants will help with different aspects of early childhood education.

One will go to Cloud County Kids Coalition; the other will go towards providing resources for the county (things like curriculum, training for daycare providers, etc.).

Muff also spoke about the survey the district is currently conducting in Cloud County. Residents are encouraged to fill out the survey so the needs of childcare in the county can be addressed. Cloud is facing a shortage of childcare options, just like many other counties across Kansas.

Residents of Cloud have until September 30th to fill out the survey, which can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/cloudcounty
