Clay County Animal Rescue & Education center is asking the community to send Valentine’s Day cards with donations to one of their current four-legged residents.

CCARE Shelter Manager John Rieb says the pup with the most money raised will win a special prize:

Rieb says Hogan, a year-old lab and hound mix, is currently in the lead with the most donations. Donations can be either mailed to the shelter’s physical address or dropped off in person. The deadline for donations is Valentine’s Day
