CCEMS Winter Emergency Call Numbers Stay Low Despite Severe Weather

Since the start of January, Clay County and surrounding areas have been hit by several severe winter storms.

CCEMS Service Director Alec Trembath says despite the severity of recent weather, Clay County residents have remained fairly safe and vigilant, and call numbers have remained low:

Large snow drifts have also been a recurring problem with several roads drifting closed due to the high winds. Trembath says their response vehicles are prepared for this and other severe weather:

The current forecast for Clay County looks for slightly warmer temps next week, hopefully signaling potential a break in severe snowstorms.
