At the 2024 annual Friends of the Clay Center Library meeting on March 26, Clay Center Carnegie Library Director Brittany Girton shared several statistics from 2023.

The statistics covered the library’s attendance, collection numbers, programs, and more.

The statistics come from an annual survey the Carnegie Library does through a partnership with the North Central Kansas Library System. Girton said the numbers were a positive indicator of the library’s status, noting how many libraries of a similar size are struggling to see the same funding and numbers.
