On Wednesday, January 10th, the Clay Counts Coalition met for their January meeting.
Topics discussed included, among other things, Matt Weller’s new joint Clay Counts Coalition-USD379 public engagement position, planning for the next Courageous Conversations Night, and grant updates.
The meeting began with a summary of Weller’s new duties within his position. He says the grant writing portion of his new duties have a steep learning curve, but he is excited for the new responsibilities.
Lori Martin of the CCCHS YLinK says the KDADS Youth Mental Health Grant for YLinK has provided an additional $3,000 in funding for Clay County YLinK chapters, thanks to a new middle school YLinK chapter in Wakefield. The grant has now provided Clay County YLinK chapters with a total of $12,000 in funding.
