PRESS RELEASE:
On April 4th, 2024 at 1:58am Clay County 911 Dispatch Center received the report of a trailer house on fire at 1535 18th Road, commonly known as Eastside Trailer Park. Clay Center City and Clay County Fire units, Clay County Sheriff’s Officers and a Clay Center Police Officer responded. One of the trailer houses in the park was on fire. One adult female at the scene identified herself as being in the structure when it caught fire. Fire units put out the fire and an Agent will the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office assisted in the investigation. Gas and electrical service does not appear to be the cause, the investigation continues. No persons reported injuries from this event.
