Local Metal Band “Imajjjin” will be taking the stage at the St. Patrick’s Family Fun Day Festival in Dexter Park on March 16th, with the show starting at 8:00 pm.

Jessie Nichols, band member and Clay Center resident says, “The band was approached by Rodney Hunter of Lightning and Thunder Studios asking if they would like to perform at the event.”

Nichols gave a little detail on the band and the type of music you can expect to hear at the festival.

“We have been a band since the beginning of 2017, we started playing shows in December of that year. “Imajjjin” plays melodic thrash metal. Inspired by a combination of old-school death and thrash metal bands like Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, and Exodus. Alongside more modern and progressive metal bands like Revocation, Trivium, Dream Theatre, and Lamb of God.”

Head down to Dexter Park on March 16th for a fun day with the family and to support a local band. For more information on “Imajjjin” visit their Facebook page.
