Law Enforcement Used CCMS, CCCHS For Active Shooter Training

On Tuesday, March 12, The Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Clay Center Police Department, and other agencies held an active shooter drill at Clay Center Community Middle School and Clay Center Community High School.

Clay County Sheriff Alan Benninga said Tuesday’s drill was different from the regular drills they have had in the past.

Clay County Sheriff Alan Benninga said the practice helped Officers learn to locate a shooter inside the school.
