A collaboration between a Clay Center author and real estate agent brings on an event for the entire community. From August 2nd through the 5th, Yellow Brick Realty in Clay Center will host a pop-up book sale. The multi-day ordeal will also host local vendors, artists, and snow cone/lemonade trucks.
Author Quade Knox will be there to sign copies of her recent paperback, 22 Years Gone.
Books for the sale were donated by community members and proceeds will go to CCARE, The Lighthouse, and Friends of the Clay Center Carnegie Library.
“We love to celebrate the creativity of Clay Center, KS,” said Yellow Brick Realty founder and owner, Angie Frigon. “There are multiple spaces in the Yellow Brick building available for lease … long-term we would love the space to be used by vendors to sell products.”
Vendors at the pop-up event include: Local State (jewelry), PLaneware Pottery, Gurney Grafix, Wisner’s Greenhouse, Creation Lane Studios, and Kay Gilbert Fine Art.
Live music will be present Wednesday, with the Serenity String Band and
Friday with the The Renaissance Jazz Band.
The event will be held at 721 4th St. in Clay Center: August 2nd through 4th from 4 to 7 pm, and Saturday, August 5th 10 am to 2 pm.
