Addisyn Stapp, an 8th grader at CCCMS, represented Clay County in the Sunflower State Spelling Bee at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.

Previously, Stapp won the school spelling bee at CCCMS in January. She also won the Clay County District Spelling Bee in February to attend the state spelling bee on March 23rd.

At the Sunflower State Spelling Bee, Stapp placed 19th out of 84 spellers from across the state.
