Last month Grow Clay County announced that the city of Clay Center had been awarded a $650,000 Moderate Income Housing Grant to build 9 new homes in Clay Center.
Austin and Michelle Gillard of Rural Development Group, LLC have invested in the lots and will soon start working ground to begin constructing the homes. Austin states these will be reasonably priced 3-bedroom homes.
The homes will be built in the 1300 Block of Blunt St. Austin says there is a lot of interest already and if you purchase a home before it’s built you can design a few options to meet your needs.
