The Harvesters Mobile Food Pantry, put on by the Clay Center United Methodist Church, will be in Clay Center on Tuesday, January 2nd, at 11:30 am. It will take place at the Clay County Fairgrounds, located at 205 South 12th Street. Volunteers will be distributing groceries and household items to anyone in need.

We spoke to Kathy Beougher, Co-Director, about how to get prepared. Kathy said that when you line up you will get a number based on your family size. She asks that you have your car’s trunk open and have enough room for the items. Volunteers will place the items in your trunk or back of your truck for you.

There are no income guidelines. The Food Pantry will remain open until all cars are through.
