Law enforcement officials are investigating two individuals linked to a theft ring in the Kansas City metro area.

According to a media release, on Monday, shortly after 8 p.m., police received a report of a theft in progress at a Walmart location.

Responding officers took two suspects into custody. Authorities found drug paraphernalia along with thousands of dollars worth of Legos in the suspect’s vehicle.

These same individuals are suspected of other thefts resulting in the loss of more than $47,000 worth of merchandise from various Wal-Marts.
