The Clay Center Community High School will be having their 2023 senior class mock trial on Monday February 27th at the Clay County Court house.

Another case the students will have to decide upon is if the county’s well-known medical doctor, Dr. Stewart, is guilty of murdering a Casanova in order to protect the family’s reputation.

Finally, the last case will be to determine if an upstairs apartment dweller named Fred Pettey secretly walked down the stairwell to shoot Frank Newton, a realtor and accountant.

The first trial begins at 8:30 AM with Honorable Judge Malcom presiding. The public is welcome to attend and watch the trials.
