By Payton Tholstrup

On February 8th, the Wichita Children’s Theatre performed at the Brown Grand Opera House in Concordia. Nearly 1,000 K-6 students from Concordia, Beloit, Miltonvale, and Glasco schools came to watch the performance. The theatre was filled with excitement and many students were experiencing the Brown Grand for the first time ever.

The Wichita Children’s Theatre Professional Touring Company is complete with storybook sets, props, and costumes for each production. They perform from September through February in both Kansas and Nebraska.

This time, they performed two short musicals; The Ugly Duckling and The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley.
