The Republic County Czech Club will be holding its 49th Annual Spring Czech Festival on Saturday, April 6th in Cuba. The festival kicks off at 1:30 p.m. at the Community Hall.
The Festival is a fun-filled day celebrating Czech Culture and Heritage. Stacia Piroutek, Czech Club Board Member says they are offering the Grammy Award Winning Brave Combo.
The festival will have a host of Czech activities including: Polka Lessons, a Czech Garnet Program, and Czech Food. Another event will be the Republic County Czech Royalty Pageant, with competitors aged 4 to 24.
Club members are currently taking applications for Czech Royalty competitors with a deadline of March 23rd. More information on the Festival and the Czech Royalty application can be found on their Facebook Page.
