Coming up on Saturday, April 20th, the Geary County Historical Society and Museums (GCHS) will host STEAM Saturday at their Spring Valley Historic Site for their Pioneer Day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the historic Schoolhouse, log cabins, and other historical buildings. Moose Jury will have axe throwing and the Merry Cranks will have hand-crank sewing machines. Kim Neptune, GCHS Educational Director, said to come prepared to ask questions and interact with the volunteers.

Neptune said that this is an outdoor event with limited facilities so plan accordingly. Food and Drink are allowed on the grounds and Pioneer attire is encouraged.
