Junction City Residents to hold Community Meeting on Possible Beef Harvesting Plant

Junction City, Kan. — This upcoming Saturday, the Junction City residents are planning a community meeting to discuss the possibility of a beef harvesting plant coming to the city.
Susan Kamm, who has been against the plant, said there are a few reasons her and others have concerns about the plant. One being the location.

She adds that she, and others, don’t think the business is a good idea for the community either.

The meeting will be held at 10:45 Saturday Morning at the Opera House in Junction City. They will also have a speaker at the event. That will be Former KU Professor Donald D. Stull who also wrote the book Slaughterhouse Blues.
