Early on the morning of March 16 37 boats and 84 anglers launched at Milford Lake State Park Marina to participate in the All American Catfish Tournament of Champions.
The event’s organizer Dustin Johnson said this weekend’s tournament was open to those who had won money at their previous tournament.
The tournament had 10 different categories for anglers to win with nearly $7,500 of prize money between all categories. Johnson said Milford lake was chosen as the location by the winners of the previous tournament, Jay Yeager and David Goss.
259 lbs of catfish were caught between the top three teams at the tournament.
