Memorial Health System (MHS) in Abilene is seeking volunteers from Dickinson County to join its Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to help improve the quality of care. MHS values community feedback and wants to collaborate with local members who are passionate about enhancing patient care.
Advisors will work alongside healthcare staff to offer perspectives on various topics, including patient needs, hospital processes, and new ideas for care improvement. They will also help raise awareness of key healthcare resources and contribute to projects like satisfaction initiatives and facility planning.
The commitment includes six meetings per year, and new advisors will serve a one-year term with the possibility of reapplying. Interested individuals can apply online via MHS’s website.
Following applications, interviews will be conducted, and selected advisors will be notified. For more information, potential applicants can email Sara Boyd at sboyd@mhsks.org.
