The North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging is offering appointments in Abilene and Minneapolis for those seeking Medicare benefit counseling.
Trained Senior Health Insurance Counselors for Kansas (SHICK) will be available in Abilene on Tuesday, October 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Counselors will be available in Minneapolis on Tuesday, October 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Interested patrons in Abilene can schedule an appointment with a counselor by calling the Abilene Senior Center. Minneapolis patrons are asked to call The Golden Wheel to schedule an appointment.
SHICK counseling is available at no cost. The counselors offer education and assist people in making informed, unbiased decisions about their Medicare coverage.
Attendees are asked to bring their Medicare number and a list of medications to the appointment.
