Craig H. Cook, age 71, entered into rest on Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home in Concordia, Kansas. He was born on December 2, 1952, in Toronto Ontario, Canada to Henry and Alice (Esson) Cook.
Craig graduated from high school in 1973 in Toronto Canada. He received his criminal justice degree from college in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada.
He was a member of the Fellowship Christian Church in Concordia. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge in Canada.
Craig worked for the Providence of Ontario Canada prison system as a prison guard for 27 years and retired in 2005.
He enjoyed gambling, playing the slots, music, singing, whistling, playing the guitar, and piano. Most of all Craig loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Ballinger of the home, son, Mike Cook, son, Daniel Cook, son, John Ballinger and a daughter, Jesicca Leapaldt and their seven wonderful grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
Craig’s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Fellowship Christian Church in Concordia, Kansas with Pastor Dwight Whitead officiating.
