Obituary-Jeffery Knox

Jeffery “Jeff” L. Knox, age 58, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Agenda, Kansas.  He was born August 18, 1964 in Belleville, Kansas to Clifford and Betty (Bottger) Knox.

He graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School in the Class of 1982. Jeff excelled in sports during his high school years lettering in Football, Basketball and Track.

Jeff joined the Army National Guard and served for 6 years.  He was honorably discharged.

Jeff was a over the road truck driver for many years hauling products all over the U.S.  After getting off the road he worked for Lawson Farms as a farmhand.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, his cats and dogs and most of all spending time with his nieces, nephews and close friends.

He is survived by his sister, Susan Williams & husband Robert, Belleville, KS; brother, Micheal Knox & Sandy, Clifton, KS; brother, Pat Knox & wife Deb, Clyde, KS; brother, Jim Knox & wife Deanna, Holden, MO, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Betty.

Jeff’s wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Clyde Christian Church Kansas, with Michael Ostermann officiating.

Burial of the cremains will follow in the Manning/Agenda Cemetery, Agenda, Kansas.

Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post #7515, Clyde.
