Obituary-Kay Osthoff

Kay Irene Osthoff, 64 died April 30, 2024, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.  She was born on July 13, 1959, in Clay Center, the daughter of Darrell and Helen (Craig) Urban.  Kay was raised in Clay Center before moving to Overland Park, KS with her parents.  She returned to Clay Center in the early 1990’s.  Kay worked as a teacher, a librarian at the Carnegie Library in Clay Center and at the Eisenhower Presidential Museum before retiring. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Kay was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors:

Husband: Roger Osthoff of Clay Center, KS

Son: Jeff and wife Lindsay Miller of Manhattan, KS

Daughter: Amanda Miller and husband Dakota Palan-Johnson of Janesville, WI

Sister: Barbara Bartling of Lawrence, KS

2 Grandchildren: Sawyer and Mateo

Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Monday, May 6 at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center.
