Portions of Belleville will see an interruption in electricity next week as part of a system upgrade.
According to a news release from city officials, the municipality is upgrading parts of its electric infrastructure, which will cause electricity to be shut off on Monday, May 13th, and Tuesday, May 14th from the 25th to 27th block of O Street.
The disconnection will start at 8:00 a.m. on Monday with total downtime for persons in the affected areas being approximately eight hours. Citizens living in that neighborhood will need to have vehicles cleared from the roadway between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Affected residents are encouraged to plan accordingly.
