First responders are currently on the scene of a semi rollover on Highway 77 south of Interstate 70 in Geary County, according to a social media report from the Kansas Highway Patrol. The accident occurred just after 6:30 a.m.

The Geary County Emergency Management updates that they have opened an additional alternative route. You can still use J Hill Rd. You can also travel to US 77 Hwy. South to W. Lyons Creek Rd. to K157 Hwy, and back to US 77 Hwy. We are being advised by wrecker crews the road will be closed until sometime between 11:00 a.m. and noon.

There is no report of injuries.
