6 JCPD Staff Members Placed on Administrative Leave

Junction City Manager Allen Dinkel announced that six Junction City Police Department staff members were placed on administrative leave due to complaints regarding a hostile workplace environment. Dinkel did not disclose their identities, he confirmed that an external firm is investigating and interviewing all department employees.

Dinkel plans to make a preliminary announcement within one or two days and that there’s no indication of criminal activity.

In a statement, the City asserted its commitment to addressing personnel concerns seriously while adhering to confidentiality policies. As such, specific details cannot be provided currently. The City is actively collecting information to respond appropriately, prioritizing confidentiality within the confines of the situation.
