MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State women’s golfer Carla Bernat was named a unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 team, as announced by the conference office on Friday.
Hailing from Castellon, Spain, Bernat is one of 11 golfers to earn this honor and one of five to be a unanimous choice. She is the third K-State women’s golfer to make the All-Big 12 team, joining Christine Boucher and Connie Jaffrey.
Last week, Bernat was named a Second Team All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association of America.
In her first season with the Wildcats, she set a school record for single-season scoring average at 70.90 and helped the team achieve four top-five finishes, including a win at the White Sands Invitational. Bernat transferred from Tulane and made a significant impact under first-year head coach Stew Burke.
