Enjoy a Day of Disc Golf in Abilene While Helping the Community

By Ryan Duey

The Wild Bill Hickok Disc Golf Club in partnership with the Kansas Disc Golf Association (KDGA) will be holding a food drive tournament on February 18th at Brown’s Memorial Park outside of Abilene to benefit Abilene’s Neighbor 2 Neighbor.

Andrew Laughlin of the Wild Bill Hickok Disc Golf Club talks about how the idea of holding food drives got started.

Laughlin encourages anyone to join them to play and their schedule is on their Facebook Page.

Registration for the tournament will start at 12:30 pm, with a tee time of 2 pm. The cost is $25 per player, which includes a pizza lunch. Players who donate 12 or more non-perishable food items will receive 5 mulligans. Visit their Facebook page for more information.
