Riley County Commissioners Meeting in Smaller Cities Once Per Quarter

Once a quarter in 2024, the Riley County Board of County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting in one of the smaller cities. Meetings are open to the public and will be held in the evenings, starting at 6:00 p.m., to allow more people to attend. Meetings will also be broadcast live on Riley County’s YouTube Channel.

2024 Remote Meeting Schedule, 6:00 p.m.

· Monday, April 29th at Ogden Community Center, 220 Willow Street

· Thursday, June 27th at Randolph VFW/City Hall, 108 W Randolph

· Thursday, August 29th at Leonardville Community Building, 118 N Erpelding

· Thursday, October 3rd at Riley City Hall, 222 S Broadway

“It’s important to make local government accessible to everyone,” says Commissioner Kathryn Focke. “By meeting in the smaller cities in Riley County, I hope to send the message that we are here to serve rural residents, too.” The BOCC meets regularly on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 8:30 a.m. in the County Chambers, Courthouse Plaza East Building 115 N. 4th St., Manhattan, KS 66502.
