Representative Sharice Davids’ office has been chosen to host a Green & Gold Congressional Aide for a two-year tenure at her district office in Overland Park. This opportunity is available to veterans, Gold Star families, and spouses of active-duty personnel. The selected individual will serve as a connection for the constituents of Kansas’ Third District with federal, state, and local agencies.
“Coming from a military family, I know that service members and their families make incredible sacrifices. It’s our responsibility to ensure they receive the support they deserve, and our office is fully committed to fulfilling that promise,” said Davids. “I’m honored to offer this fellowship to ensure that veterans and their families not only have access to quality employment opportunities but also receive the care and services they have rightfully earned.”
The Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program was created to generate job opportunities for veterans, Gold Star families, and spouses of active-duty personnel within the U.S. House of Representatives. These roles equip aides with the experience and exposure to expand their career horizons. The program presents a two-year, salaried, full-time job opportunity, with the exact responsibilities to be defined during the recruitment process.
